Welcome to the One Week Remaining Archive
One Week Remaining was a blog I ran for six months in 2023. It was the literal and emotional capstone of my time as a Western Washington University undergrad. It was also a literal and emotional pain-in-the-ass, though a delightful pain-in-the-ass I will admit.
Each week I wrote and published two pieces, leisurely running the gamut of four different topics (Thalassophobia, Cosmic Horror, Nightmares, and Predation) and accumulated a total of 200 hours and 41 pieces of work, many of which will be seeking formal publication in the next few years.
The blog is gone forever, but here are some highlights.

Midnight Prophet
A series of four 'nightmare poems' I performed in a video reading format. I liked this little side project. The editing is way too slow in retrospect, and I could have taken more advantage of the concept, but I've been told it's still quite frightening, and is only seven minutes long.
The Story of the Second Ocean
The first video reading project I attempted. Scale? Way too ambitious. Editing? Not bad actually. Final product? A very serviceable first attempt.
The story is pretty good though. I think you'd enjoy it.
